Trent Lucas Sainsbury (born 5 January 1992) is an football (soccer) player currently signed to the Central Coast Mariners. Sainsbury was born in Perth, Western Australia. He attended Muirfield High School. He previously played for Perth Glory in the 2008-09 A-League National Youth League season and AIS in the 2009-10 A-League National Youth League season. Then he signed for the Central Coast Mariners for the 2010-11 A-League season. In July 2010, Sainsbury and fellow Central Coast Mariners team mate Marc Warren were chosen to spend two weeks at Sheffield United's Academy as part of the two clubs' partnership.
