YouTrack is implemented in compliance with the LOP paradigm and is developed using JetBrains MPS and a set of JetBrains' own DSLs . It uses built-in JetBrains Database — a transactional key-value store. For Remote Procedure Calls, YouTrack supports a RESTful API.
