Semih Kaya (born 24 February 1991 Bergama), is a Turkish professional footballer defender currently playing for Galatasaray. Semih is a product of Galatasaray's youth system. He joined Galatasaray's youth academy from Altay's youth team when he was 15. The start of the 2008a??2009 season saw interest in Semih with reports that Inter Milan were monitoring him. His current contract with Galatasaray SK is set to expire at the end of the 2010/2011 season. The interest in Semih has continued to grow and as of 8 January 2009, there is speculation of a move to either Arsenal or Barcelona as well as Inter Milan. His first league appearance was against A°stanbul B.B. on 19 February 2009.
