He participated at the 2011 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Slovenia men's national ice hockey team. TiA?ar is the current member of German DEL ice hockey club, Krefeld Pinguine.The Krefeld Pinguine (Krefeld Penguins) are an ice hockey team in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. They play in Krefeld, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany at the KA¶nigPALAST. Founded first in 1936, the pro team became a limited liability company in 1994 and joined the top tier Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In their history they have won the German championship in 1952 and 2003.
