Using simple materials, the Polish artist Robert Kusmirowski (born 1973) creates meticulous simulations of historical situations. This book documents one such simulation--a mysterious nuclear institute recalling Cold War Soviet technology--that was produced for his 2006 solo exhibition in the Migros Museum fur Gegenwartskunst.
