For decades researchers have been familiar with archaeological finds that were once imported from the Aegean and imitations of the same from settlements and graves on the Levant coast, in particular Mycenaean pottery and figurines. This study presents a catalogue of those Mycenaean vessels and fragments which have been found in closed finds in Cilicia, Syria and the Lebanon, irrespective of their place of manufacture, whether Southern Greece, Cyprus or the Levant. Objects from closed contexts are of particular significance for synchronisation with Southern Greece, where the typology of Mycenaean pottery is identified by settlement stratigraphies. In the first part of this study the contexts for each place are introduced, and the finds from each one are identified and listed in tabular form.
