Countries exert their maximum effort to improve the well being of their citizens. Food insecurity is the major problem in developing countries. Even the middle income countries, although they are self sufficient, they might not ensure the food security situation of every household. These countries have to select the appropriate approach of implementing programmes that ultimately ensure food security of every household. Watershed Management Development Approach is the best approach in countries where their natural resource is depleted. This approach initially focuses in improving the natural resource base and eventually supports the livelihoods of the rural poor.
